ABOUT US
Allume Consulting was founded on a deep belief that the people doing the work of care deserve to be held with the same attentiveness, depth, and intention they bring to others.
OUR STORY
Allume Consulting grew from over fifteen years of direct practice in trauma, child protection, and community mental health — work that is profoundly meaningful, and profoundly demanding. Our founder experienced first-hand how rarely practitioners are given the reflective space and relational support they need to sustain themselves in this work.
That gap — between the depth of the work and the depth of support available — is what Allume was created to address. We work with individual practitioners, clinical teams, and whole organisations to build cultures where care is genuinely held at every level.
Our approach draws on attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, reflective practice frameworks, and a deep respect for the complexity of human systems. We don't arrive with a fixed programme — we arrive with curiosity, expertise, and a commitment to co-creating something that genuinely fits.
WHAT WE STAND FOR
We believe that meaningful change happens in relationship — not through programmes delivered at people, but through genuine connection, curiosity, and co-creation.
Everything we do is shaped by an understanding of how trauma lives in bodies, systems, and cultures — and what it takes to create conditions of safety and repair.
We hold space for practitioners to think, feel, and make meaning of their work — because the quality of care is inseparable from the quality of reflection.
We are committed to supporting practitioners to stay well in their work — not just survive it — through supervision, community, and honest conversation about the emotional demands of care.
We'd love to hear about your context and explore whether we're a good fit for your needs.
